Bridging Everyday to Extraordinary
Autumn and May was created for those who want more from their jewellery.
Something no longer felt quite right. The jewellery market had drifted into two distinct worlds. On one side, pieces designed for fleeting trends rather than lasting wear. On the other, exquisite jewellery sequestered in exclusive boutiques, where you couldn’t browse freely or understand what you were buying without a degree in gemmology.
What about the jewellery you wanted to wear every day but treasure forever? We wanted our showcases filled with contemporary, thoughtful and enduring pieces that are designed with intention and made for life. We believed you deserved to understand your jewellery, diamonds and metal choices without feeling overwhelmed, but in a conversational way.
We were founded on these values in 1993 - a contemporary jewellery house where every piece is chosen for its design, craftsmanship and longevity. You are always welcome to explore, to learn, to ask questions and to choose with confidence. The space between everyday and extraordinary was a void.

Our heart beats in Greenwich, at Zero Degree Longitude - 51°28’53.7″N 0°00’32.0″W - just yards from the River Thames and Greenwich Meridian Line.
We opened our doors with a simple belief: contemporary jewellery should carry meaning, and choosing it should feel like a conversation, not a transaction. It is the kind of place where you can wander in curious about a silver necklace and leave having learned something fascinating about diamond cuts or precious metals. Where browsing is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and “just looking” is always welcome.
Set within the historic Greenwich Market and surrounded by Royal Greenwich Park, the Royal Observatory, the Maritime Museum and the Cutty Sark, Autumn and May sits at the heart of one of South East London’s most beautiful day-out destinations.

The same applies to our Design and Craft: many of our Engagement and Wedding rings are commissioned or made to order, crafted with care, and finished to standards that honour the traditions of British jewellery-making. From the simplest silver necklace to the most intricate diamond setting, the same attention applies.

This philosophy has led us to work with both emerging niche designers - from Kit Heath, Larua Ashley, and Pdpaola for everyday silver, to Amanda Cox and Diamonfire for bridal jewellery, Andrew Geoghegan for breathtaking engagement rings, Elements for everyday gold, Colette Waudby and Nicole Barr for creative designer pieces, and Clogau for Welsh gold jewellery, among many others.
